Key Skill - Experience in hands-on setting up and configuring AWS environment and native services along with hands-on scripting/coding. On the soft skill portion, experience in driving initiatives and getting concurrence from stakeholders in adopting new initiatives and solutions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Tertiary education in Computer/Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent
  • AWS certifications such Developer (Associate) Certification, AWS SysOps Administrator (Associate), AWS Solution Architect (Associate/Professional), AWS DevOps Engineer (Professional) is preferred
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures
  • Familiarity with various coding languages, such as Python, Java etc.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

  • Hands-on experience in handling operations and incident management
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services and architecture
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java)
  • Familiarity with security tools and practices (e.g., SAST, DAST, IAST)
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch)
  • Experience in supporting operation for applications hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Government on Commercial Cloud (GCC)
  • Familiarity with governance and adoption for enterprise IT environments
  • Working experience in government environment and/or cybersecurity related fields will be an added advantage
