About the Role

For this position, we are looking for a qualified and experienced PHP Engineer to join our iLovePDF backend team. You will be responsible for building the server-side of our tools and its websites working in a multidisciplinary team and specialists.

The ideal candidate will efficiently and quickly write PHP using the best practices in a timely and scalable way in order to improve the code-base of the company's products in meaningful ways.

For this role, we are looking for someone exceptional to join our team and we will value someone who has the following skills:

• 5+ years of experience developing Back-end solutions.
• Perfect knowledge of PHP.
• Solid experience with caching & databases.
• Git & Unix experience.
• Previous experience using Domain-Driven-Design (DDD).
• Testing experience.
• API Rest knowledge and best practices.
• Experience with payment gateways.
• Detail-focused and showing a passion for developing back-end solutions used by millions of users.
• EU citizen or a valid work permit to work in Spain.
