We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Generalist to support and drive HR initiatives across our South East Asia (SEA) operations. The Human Resources Generalist will work closely with leadership teams and business managers to provide strategic HR solutions that align with the company’s goals and objectives. The role will focus on talent management, employee engagement, performance management, organizational development, and workforce planning across diverse cultures and legal environments in the SEA region.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Partnership:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders and managers, providing expert HR guidance and support aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Partner with leadership teams to design and implement HR strategies that drive business success across the SEA region.
  • Develop and execute HR initiatives that enhance organizational performance, culture, and employee satisfaction.
  • Support the development of leadership talent and succession planning within the region.


Talent Management & Development:

  • Collaborate with managers to assess workforce needs, identify high-potential talent, and create succession plans.
  • Lead performance management processes, including setting objectives, providing feedback, and facilitating performance reviews.
  • Ensure consistent application of learning and development opportunities to foster a high-performing workforce.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to managers on people development, career progression, and performance improvement.


Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Act as a key point of contact for employee relations issues, helping to resolve conflicts, concerns, and workplace disputes in a fair and timely manner.
  • Develop and promote initiatives that drive employee engagement, well-being, and retention in the SEA region.
  • Implement company-wide initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive culture.


Workforce Planning & Organizational Development:

  • Lead workforce planning efforts, ensuring that the organization is appropriately structured to meet current and future business needs.
  • Provide guidance on change management processes and organizational restructuring, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  • Support HR projects that enhance business operations, including employee surveys, culture assessments, and diversity initiatives.


Compliance & Legal Requirements:

  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies across the SEA region.
  • Stay informed of changes in employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions and advise the business on necessary adjustments to HR practices.
  • Partner with legal teams to manage risks and ensure the organization operates within the legal framework of each SEA country.


HR Reporting & Metrics:

  • Use HR data and analytics to track key HR performance indicators and provide actionable insights to business leaders.
  • Regularly report on HR activities, progress, and challenges to senior management, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of HR experience
  • Proven experience working across multiple countries in South East Asia, with knowledge of diverse employment laws and HR practices.
  • Experience in fast-paced and growing organizations, managing cross-functional teams, and navigating cultural nuances in a multinational environment.
