About The Role
Are you a process-driven HR professional who loves the intersection of People, Systems and Office Operations? We are looking for a People and Operations Specialist to own the operational backbone of our local and some of the regional offices. You will be the architect of our internal processes, ensuring that our employees across the UK and DACH region have a seamless employee experience while keeping our compliance, payroll and finances airtight.

Your Responsibilities
People Operations & Compliance
- Global Payroll & EOR: Own the end-to-end payroll coordination for 35+ employees in Germany, UK, Austria, Switzerland. Manage our Employer-of-Record (EOR) partnerships in other countries as necessary, ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance.
- HRIS (Personio): Act as the global System Administrator for Personio. You will drive automation, optimize the employee on/offboarding lifecycle, and take part in the implementation of any new, approved features to elevate the support of our employees.
- Global Administration: Lead the Office and HR administration for our regional entities, ensuring lean, efficient, and compliant processes.
- Data-Driven Strategy: Monitor and analyze People KPIs (Headcount, Turnover, Cost-per-Hire) to support decision making.
- Talent Acquisition: support or coordinate the recruitment process (as needed)
- Employee Voice: Initiate and manage surveys & reviews in flowit (e.g Pulse, Onboarding, Exit) to refine feedback flow.
- Policy Design: Harmonize local guidelines with global standards (e.g On-call / Workation policy)
- Global Initiatives: Supporting and helping to shape global initiatives like compensation & benefits or employer branding
- Travel & Events: Manage our global travel policy via Perk and organize high-impact team events (40+ participants).
- Office Management: Oversee facility management and vendor contracts, focusing on cost-optimization and inventory efficiency.
- Professional background: Relevant studies and 3+ years in People Operations, HR Generalist, or a similar role within a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with different local regulations.
- Tech Savvy: Proven experience with data flows in HRIS systems, preferably Personio and a passion for workflow automation. Efficient user of Google Workspace.
- Analytical Mindset: You are comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and can turn raw data into a narrative for the People Team, Finance or C-level.
- Multilingual: Fluent in English and German (both written and spoken).
- Organized & Proactive: You move from insight to action quickly and deliver high quality work with minimal follow up or supervision required.
- Efficiency: Quick on uptake and action.
- Operational Excellence: You value speed, but not at the cost of accuracy. You balance precision with pragmatism and know when perfect is not required.
