As a Full Stack Engineer at HCLTech, you will play a critical role in developing robust, scalable, and secure web applications that power next-generation digital solutions. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our innovative technology platforms, ensuring seamless experiences for millions of users worldwide. Your Role & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js, adhering to industry standards for code quality and security.
- Architect, implement, and manage microservices leveraging Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring applications are scalable, resilient, and cloud-ready.
- Develop and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs for seamless integration with front-end and back-end systems.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to break down complex epics into actionable user stories and deliver new features and functionalities.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code, participating actively in agile development cycles to deliver reliable software solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit tests to achieve high code coverage and rigorously test application performance, security, and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews on peers’ pull requests, providing constructive feedback and guidance to elevate code quality and promote best engineering practices.
- Participate in technical discussions, architecture decisions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the engineering organization.
Qualifications & Experience
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role, with a strong emphasis on both front-end and back-end development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, with hands-on expertise in Node.js and React (including Next.js).
- Solid understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Experience in designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Strong knowledge of web application frameworks, SDK development, and data modeling concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to write secure, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Git).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
