🚀Then what?

As part of the Move to Cloud program, our client is modernizing and migrating its application portfolio to a sovereign, secure, and scalable cloud platform built on Google Cloud.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to support this transformation by containerizing applications, automating deployments, and integrating DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with cloud architects and development teams to ensure applications are modernized and successfully deployed to cloud environments.

Responsibilities:

• Containerize applications according to specifications in decision files
• Integrate source code into a complete DevOps framework (CI/CD), including:
• Software Composition Analysis, SAST scan, SonarQube, Trivy
• Build processes using Kaniko for containerized applications
• Build with tools such as Maven, Composer, npm for applications hosted on virtual machines
• Infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
• Deployment using Helm or GitOps tools for containerized applications
• Deployment using Ansible playbooks and roles for applications hosted on virtual machines
• Validate application deployments in DEV/UAT/PRD environments with automated tests (Cypress Framework)
• Ensure data format compatibility between original and target infrastructures
• Implement security best practices (TLS encryption, Secret Management, Authorization)
• Prepare handover to RUN teams by conducting knowledge transfer sessions and writing detailed technical documentation

Requirements:

• Proven experience with at least one Public Cloud Provider (GCP preferred)
• Strong experience with Helm Charts, Ansible Roles, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Gitlab CI
• Ability to write scripts in Bash or Python
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, Oracle)
• Familiarity with both Linux (RHEL/Debian) and Windows operating systems
• Understanding of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms (OIDC / SAML), TLS encryption protocols
