Requirements
- 2+ years of backend development experience, preferably in the gaming industry
- Expert-level proficiency in C# (.NET Core) with a focus on building high-performance, scalable backend services
- Deep expertise in in-memory data stores (Redis), utilizing advanced data types and Pub/Sub mechanics
- Experience with NoSQL databases (DynamoDB / MongoDB), specifically in designing schemas for high-write-throughput workloads
- Proficient in version control systems, specifically Git, including standard branching strategies (e.g., GitFlow) and pull request workflows
- Strong understanding of software testing practices, including writing automated unit and integration tests (e.g., xUnit, NUnit) and mocking dependencies
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Docker Compose)
- Solid grasp of RESTful API design, server security best practices, and secure third-party integrations (e.g., PlayFab, App Store / Google Play IAP validation)
- Strong foundation in software architecture patterns, OOP, and SOLID principles
- Developing backend game services and APIs to run world-class games at scale
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of live game services (LiveOps)
- Research, architect, and deliver backend solutions that continuously improve system stability, efficiency, and scalability
- Manage source code using Git, actively participate in peer code reviews, and maintain high codebase quality and readability
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including game developer and product teams, often in an Agile environment
- Help maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) to ensure smooth, automated testing and reliable deployments
- Write and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation for backend systems, architecture decisions, and API endpoints
