Job Opportunity: Kotlin Developer

Role Overview:

We are building a modern platform that enables control owners and development teams to manage and monitor compliance with software development controls.

You will work on Kotlin and Java-based web applications and APIs across 2–3 applications or Proofs of Concept, depending on your experience and fit. All solutions are built using modern engineering practices within a microservices architecture.

We operate in an Agile, CI/CD-driven environment with a strong focus on code quality, automation, and collaboration.

Location: Cracow, hybrid model (office visit 6 times per month)

English skills: B2/C1

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers, testers, and the wider organization to build and operate products
• Design, develop, and implement backend and front-end features according to backlog priorities (applications use a simple UI framework; this is not strictly front-end development)
• Design and launch new features in cooperation with engineers and stakeholders
• Build APIs and microservices that solve impactful business problems
• Proactively engage with users to resolve issues and respond to feature requests
• Deliver iterative improvements in an Agile CI/CD environment at a sustainable pace
• Participate in peer reviews and contribute to quality through automated test scripting

Requirements:

• Experience in Kotlin (or Java with willingness to learn Kotlin)
• Experience in at least two or three of the following areas:
• API development
• SQL / databases
• HTML / JavaScript
• Experience working in Agile environments (Jira, Confluence)
• Understanding of microservices architecture
• Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• English level B2 or higher
