Why We Hire

We are looking for a Web Engineer to help us with the implementation of improved UX and interactive features that drive business growth.

Position Details

This is a full-time position located in Tokyo and reports to the Manager of Development. As a Web Engineer, your primary focus will be on the development of core products and must have excellent Java, Spring, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript skills. You will be responsible for working with various teams and translating marketing and product requirements into functional pages and mobile websites.

This ideal candidate must be a highly motivated individual, self-starter with excellent communication and team collaboration skills. A passion for solving business problems and exceeding expectations through the development of leading edge, disruptive technologies are extremely desired.

Mandatory Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience in Web development using Java and Spring
At least 3 years of experience in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.)
Experience using React
Code version control using Git
Deep understanding of or strong interest in front-end technical specifications

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge and experience with page speed improvement
Knowledge and experience in API development
Knowledge and experience in DevOps / Site Reliability
