What are we looking for in this position?

• Implement, manage and operate security technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, XDR and DAM etc. across the organization,

• Monitor, support and enhance SOC operations, including threat detection, incident response and escalation processes,

• Perform security incident analysis, investigation, containment and remediation activities,

• Review and analyse technical documentation, architecture and security configurations to identify potential vulnerabilities,

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement security solutions and effectively handle security incidents,

• Participate in security audits, risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives,

• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging threats, vulnerabilities and security technologies relevant to the organization.

Technical & Behavioural Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other relevant departments of a four‑year university,

• Preferably a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a cyber security–related environment,

• Strong hands‑on experience with IBM QRadar SIEM/Microsoft Sentinel, including log source onboarding, correlation rule development, dashboard creation and alert tuning,

• Proven experience with SOAR platforms, preferably Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR/Microsoft Sentinel, including playbook development, automation and integration with security tools,

• Operational expertise with EDR/XDR solutions such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Cortex or equivalent technologies,

• Hands‑on experience with IBM Guardium or similar database activity monitoring (DAM) and data security solutions,

• Solid understanding of incident response, threat analysis, log investigation and root cause analysis,

• Experience with SOC processes and the ability to actively support day‑to‑day security operations,

• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems,

• Hands‑on experience in incident handling and digital forensics,

• Intermediate knowledge of cloud security concepts,

• Basic knowledge of network security and email security,

• Familiarity with cyber‑attack techniques, malware, defensive strategies and incident response processes,

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell or Bash is a strong plus,

• Relevant security certifications (IBM, Microsoft, Palo Alto, Security+, CHFI, CEH etc.) are considered an advantage,

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken,

• Strong team player with high self‑motivation, personal initiative and a solution‑oriented mindset,
