Role Overview:

We're looking for an experienced Network Security Expert o support enterprise-level security operations. The role focuses on firewall and load balancer configuration, incident support, automation, and knowledge transfer to 24/7 operations teams within a complex, multi-technology environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and operation of next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto Networks, Check Point)
• Establishment and maintenance of site-to-site VPN connections with external partners
• In-depth analysis and resolution of firewall-related issues
• Configuration and optimization of load balancers (F5 – LTM, GTM, AFM)
• Analysis and troubleshooting of load balancer incidents and performance issues
• Support during security incidents, including root cause analysis and mitigation
• Handling cross-technology issues involving network, security, and infrastructure components
• Handover of completed configurations and documentation to 24/7 operations teams
• Contribution to the continuous improvement of internal processes and tools
• Design and implementation of automation solutions and scripts for security-related processes

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in network security engineering within enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on expertise with:
• Palo Alto Networks firewalls
• Check Point firewalls
• F5 load balancers (LTM, GTM, AFM)
• Solid knowledge of:
• VPN technologies (site-to-site)
• Network protocols and architectures
• Security incident handling and troubleshooting
• Experience working in complex, heterogeneous IT landscapes
• Ability to document configurations and perform structured handovers to operations teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible, or similar)
• Familiarity with ITIL-based operations or enterprise service environments
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments
• Knowledge of security process optimization and tool development
