ServiceNow Engineer (x3)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Contract: 12-Month Contract

Overview

We are hiring 3 experienced ServiceNow Engineers to join a major digital transformation program within a leading enterprise environment in Abu Dhabi.

These roles will support large-scale ServiceNow implementation, enhancement, and integration initiatives across ITSM and enterprise service workflows. The ideal candidates will be hands-on engineers with strong platform knowledge and experience working in complex, regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, develop, and enhance ServiceNow modules (primarily ITSM)
• Design and implement workflows, forms, business rules, and UI policies
• Develop integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems
• Support API-based integrations and middleware connectivity
• Participate in platform upgrades and release management
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues
• Work closely with solution architects, business analysts, and infrastructure teams
• Maintain documentation and ensure best practice development standards
• Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• Strong experience in ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)
• Experience with Service Catalog and workflow design
• Proven integration experience (REST/SOAP APIs)
• Strong scripting capability (JavaScript within ServiceNow)
• Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
• Exposure to cloud-hosted ServiceNow environments
• Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks

Desirable Skills

• Experience with additional modules (ITOM, CMDB, HRSD, SecOps – advantageous)
• Experience in government or regulated industries (preferred)
• ServiceNow CSA / CAD certifications
• Exposure to DevOps or Agile delivery models
