Job Overview

• A Junior Machine Learning Engineer supports the development, deployment, and maintenance of machine learning systems and data-driven applications. This role focuses on building scalable models, improving algorithm performance, and assisting in integrating machine learning solutions into production environments. The position is fully remote and open to candidates based in the United Arab Emirates.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and testing machine learning models and algorithms.
• Prepare, clean, and preprocess datasets for training and evaluation.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to deploy machine learning solutions.
• Optimize model performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support model monitoring, evaluation, and maintenance in production environments.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Participate in experimentation, model validation, and performance testing.
• Contribute to automation of machine learning workflows and pipelines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of professional experience or relevant internships in machine learning or software development.
• Proficiency in Python and common machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience working with SQL and data processing tools.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices and version control (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker.
• Exposure to MLOps concepts and CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with APIs and deploying models as services.
• Personal or academic machine learning projects demonstrating practical experience.
