About The Role
Qualitest is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team supporting a strategic client engagement. This role focuses on building modern, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces using React.js, working within a fast-paced, collaborative Agile environment.
You will play a key role in developing user-facing features, translating design concepts into high-quality code, and contributing to reusable frontend architecture aligned with modern engineering and AI-enabled development practices.
Key Responsibilities
Qualitest is seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer to join a high-performing delivery team supporting a strategic client engagement. This role focuses on building modern, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces using React.js, working within a fast-paced, collaborative Agile environment.
You will play a key role in developing user-facing features, translating design concepts into high-quality code, and contributing to reusable frontend architecture aligned with modern engineering and AI-enabled development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain modern user-facing applications using React.js
- Build reusable components and frontend libraries to support scalable development
- Translate wireframes and UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable, and high-quality code
- Optimize applications for maximum performance across browsers and devices
- Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and backend engineers within Agile teams
- Implement effective state and data management solutions (e.g., Apollo)
- Contribute to frontend architecture decisions and engineering best practices
- Ensure code quality through version control, peer reviews, and continuous improvement
- Stay current with emerging frontend technologies and AI-led development approaches
- 5+ years’ commercial experience developing frontend applications using React.js
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with state/data management libraries such as Apollo
- Proven experience building reusable and scalable frontend components
- Strong understanding of web performance optimisation techniques
- Experience working with Git or similar version control systems
- Solid understanding of modern web architectures and development trends
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
- Exposure to AI-assisted or AI-led development practices
- Experience working within enterprise-scale or client-facing delivery environments
- Knowledge of modern frontend testing approaches
- Experience contributing to shared component libraries or design systems
