Frontend Developer (.NET / Razor / JavaScript) - Melbourne CBD (Hybrid)

We are partnering with an established technology business seeking a Frontend Developer to support the restructuring and enhancement of an existing enterprise web platform.

This role is suited to an engineer who enjoys improving user interfaces, refactoring frontend code, and working closely with backend teams to enhance performance, usability, and maintainability.

The engineering team has strong backend capability in place the priority for this hire is frontend structure, quality, and user experience.

The Role

• Restructure and enhance ASP.NET MVC / Razor front-end components
• Improve frontend architecture and overall code quality
• Collaborate with backend developers integrating C# services and APIs
• Refactor legacy UI code into scalable and maintainable patterns
• Build responsive user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Contribute to ongoing performance and usability improvements

Required Experience

• Commercial experience with ASP.NET MVC, Razor Views, or Razor Pages
• Strong JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS skills
• Experience working within .NET web applications
• Ability to work effectively within existing enterprise codebases
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving capability

Desirable

• Experience modernising legacy applications
• UI/UX improvement exposure
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular or similar)
• Agile delivery experience
