We design and implement innovative pick & place material handling systems capable of handling multiple parts simultaneously, streamlining sheet-metal production and vastly improving efficiency for our clients worldwide.


To reinforce our team and to develop novel applications leveraging vision-guided robotics we are looking for a


Computer Vision Engineer for industrial automation (m/f – 100%)


You will be responsible for the development of a new product line in the Isochronic portfolio to enable vision-guided robotics. You will design the system from the beginning to the end - make choices on hardware and algorithms, develop the software, test the product on-site and continuously improve the solution after first deployment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conceptual design choices of the vision technology based on product requirements
  • Design and set up a test bench to validate design choices
  • Iteratively refine the algorithms to achieve industry-grade reliability and robustness
  • Integrate solution into existing robotic ecosystem
  • Oversee industrial tests at pilot customer’s plant
  • Oversee deployment and commissioning of first pilot installation
  • Iterative improvement of solution based on collected data


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer vision or related field
  • 3+ years experience with classic computer vision in an industrial environment - neural networks is a plus
  • Solid programming skills in Python and TypeScript – C is a plus
  • Experience with commonly used libraries (OpenCV, TensorFlow, ...)
  • Ability to take responsibility and lead technical decisions
  • Good communication skills in English (written and spoken) - German is a plus
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites occasionally (10% - 15%)
