Lead building projects from inception to handover with a highly reputable, multi-sector client-side consultancy.


Our client is an established and highly respected client-side project management consultancy, recognised as a leader in the delivery of complex building projects across multiple sectors. With a strong portfolio of prestigious developments and a reputation for excellence, this is an outstanding opportunity to join a forward-thinking, professional and dynamic organisation.


Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead major age care project from early planning through to construction delivery and handover. This role involves a high level of client and stakeholder engagement and requires strong leadership, communication and people management skills, supported by a solid technical foundation.


Candidates must have prior client-side project management consultancy experience, with proven delivery of large-scale building projects. Their project portfolio spans Mixed-Use, Commercial, Aged Care, Residential and Retail new builds, with project values ranging from smaller developments through to $250m+.


Years of Experience:

5-10+ years


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


Client & Project Leadership

  • Client management and consultation across all project phases
  • Leading projects from pre-construction through to delivery and handover
  • Managing project teams and consultants to achieve programme and quality outcomes


Planning, Design & Approvals

  • Project planning and feasibility studies
  • Design management and coordination
  • Liaison with authorities and management of DA submissions
  • Value engineering and design optimisation


Procurement & Delivery

  • Procurement of construction services
  • Delivery and management of construction services
  • Cost control, cost reporting and superintendent responsibilities
  • Managing risk, programme and quality outcomes


Completion & Handover

  • Commissioning and post-contract duties
  • Managing handover and close-out processes


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a property-related discipline
  • 5-10+ years’ end-to-end project management experience on building projects
  • Previous client-side project management consultancy experience (essential)
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale mixed-use or building projects
  • Business development experience or a strong industry network (advantageous)
  • High-level interpersonal, leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong strategic thinking capability and ability to see the bigger picture
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
