Responsibilities
- Join our dynamic team at Tranby as a Software Engineer Embedded Systems Specialist, where you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of hydropower technology.
- You will contribute to the maintenance and further development of the Hydropower Connexi platform, working closely with a skilled and supportive team.
- In this position, you will design and implement automated test suites, develop robust embedded software solutions, and help ensure our products deliver exceptional quality and reliability in a fast-evolving energy sector
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience with Proven track record in embedded software projects within product-oriented environments
- Strong proficiency in C and C++, Solid experience with embedded software development, including microcontrollers and RTOS
- Good understanding of product development processes and methodologies
- Motivated, adaptable, and cooperative, with strong interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Norwegian and English Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience designing and implementing automated test suites
- Familiarity with hydropower industry software or related energy-sector applications
- Knowledge of advanced debugging and performance optimization techniques
