We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team in Brussels.

You will be a key driver in designing, building, and deploying advanced AI and machine learning solutions for our clients, with a strong focus on Generative AI technologies and AI Agents. This role requires a strategic vision to architect end-to-end AI systems, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration into enterprise environments.

You will lead and mentor a team of AI engineers, guiding them through the full lifecycle of AI projects: from requirement gathering and translating business needs into optimal technical solutions. Your responsibilities include defining solution architectures, integrating AI components into broader systems, and ensuring best practices in MLOps, AI governance, and ethical AI.

In the short term, you will contribute to ongoing AI initiatives and establish technical leadership within the team. Over time, you will drive innovation in Generative AI, AI Agents, and advanced ML practices, mentor team members, and shape the strategic direction of our AI offerings.

Your role

• Design and Implement AI Solutions: Lead the development of advanced AI and machine learning systems, including Generative AI models and AI Agents, ensuring robust architecture, scalability, and integration with client environments.
• Architect and Translate Business Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, define the end-to-end AI solution architecture, and translate business needs into optimal technical designs that deliver measurable value.
• Team Leadership and Delivery Excellence: Manage and mentor a team of AI engineers, driving project execution, ensuring best practices in MLOps and governance, and delivering high-quality AI solutions that meet client expectations.
• Innovation in Generative AI and AI Agents: Research and apply cutting-edge techniques in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and autonomous AI Agents, ensuring NTT DATA remains at the forefront of AI innovation.
• Client Advisory and Strategic Alignment: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance on AI strategy, architecture, and implementation, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable impact.

Your profile:

• AI Engineering Expertise: Minimum 4+ years of experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions, including Generative AI models and AI Agents.
• Solution Architecture Skills: Proven ability to define end-to-end AI solution architectures, integrating models into enterprise systems and ensuring scalability and security.
• Programming and Frameworks: Strong proficiency in Python and experience with ML/AI frameworks
• MLOps and Deployment: Hands-on experience with model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Fluent English and Dutch or French
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in AI/ML, cloud architecture, or MLOps are a plus
• Experience in client Advisory: An ability to engage with clients on AI strategy and roadmap development is advantageous, but you can also grow into this skill here
• Leadership Experience is valued: Previous experience mentoring or leading technical teams in AI projects
