In this role, you will lead an Agile engineering team, driving product roadmap achievements and engineering excellence. Accountabilities
- Lead an Agile engineering team to achieve product roadmap objectives.
- Oversee the entire technology stack, focusing on both frontend and backend technologies.
- Design, develop, and deploy Cloud-based applications with a microservices architecture.
- Partner with product managers to deliver timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Optimize code, automate routine tasks, and troubleshoot issues.
- Research new technologies to align with the business unit's strategic direction.
- Mentor and coach engineering team members to support their growth.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
- 6 years of experience as an Engineering Manager with web-based applications, or 4 years with a Master's degree.
- Expertise in designing APIs and microservices using technologies like React, Angular, Java Spring Boot, or Golang.
- Experience with CI/CD practices using Git and AWS or Bitbucket pipelines.
- Proficiency in designing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong coaching skills to guide software engineering teams.
