Full Stack Engineer

Full Stack & QA Engineers (Multiple Roles):

• Recann Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to these freelance assignments.
• We are currently sourcing a team of high-caliber Full Stack Developers and QA Engineers (up to 6 positions) to support a major digital transformation project for a client based in Helsinki, Finland.
• The team will be responsible for developing new features and implementing critical change requests across backend Java applications and frontend web environments.

Assignment Details:

• Role Titles: Full Stack Developer (Backend Focus) | Full Stack Developer (Web Focus) | QA Engineer
• Location: Helsinki, Finland (Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 50% Remote)
• Assignment Period: 09 March 2026 – 30 November 2026
• Workload: 100% (Full-time)
• Rate: Competitive / Market Rate
• Engagement Type: Payments can be processed via Payroll (PAYE) or to a Limited Company, depending on your preference and eligibility.
• Compliance: A standard background check is required for all selected consultants before the assignment commences.

Technical Profiles & Requirements:

We are looking for specialists across three distinct profiles. All candidates must possess strong automation skills, with Reactive Programming experience considered a significant advantage.

1. Full Stack Developer (Backend Focus):

• Core Tech: Expert proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Async/Reactive: Experience with libraries such as RxJava.
• Integration: Solid experience in REST API development and build tools.
• Quality: Hands-on experience with unit testing and automation frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
• Frontend (Plus): Experience with Angular/TypeScript is highly regarded.

2. Full Stack Developer (Web Focus):

• Core Tech: Strong experience with Angular (or AngularJS) and TypeScript.
• Backend: Competency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Testing: Experience with modern automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, or Protractor).
• Domain (Plus): Previous experience within the Payment/Fintech domain is a plus.

3. QA Engineer (Manual & Automated):

• Experience: Minimum 6 years in testing backend services and web applications.
• Mobile: 3+ years of dedicated Mobile Testing (iOS and Android).
• Automation: Ability to build/contribute to end-to-end setups using Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Toolkit: Proficient with Postman, Bruno, qTest, and BrowserStack.
• Standards: Deep understanding of WCAG accessibility testing and reliability testing.
• Hybrid Mindset: A willingness to contribute to development code is considered a strong asset.
