About the Company
Our client is the leading regional data center provider in the Netherlands, with a strong footprint across more than 10 Data Centers. You’ll be part of a highly secure, tightly controlled environment where precision, safety, and operational continuity are everything.
What Will You Do?
You’ll be responsible for the daily technical operations of the data center, supporting and maintaining infrastructure to the highest standards.
- Perform structural and facility-related maintenance
- Maintain cooling systems: air, cooling water, chilled water
- Manage electrical installations: mains power, UPS, emergency generators, pumps
- Troubleshoot systems based on control and measurement tech (temperature, pressure, speed)
- Supervise external contractors during scheduled maintenance
- Work closely with the Technical Facility Manager to keep things running 24/7
- Join a rotating on-call duty roster to support operational continuity
What Do You Bring?
You’re self-driven, communicative, and you thrive in high-tech environments where no two days are the same.
- MBO-level degree, preferably in electrical engineering
- Experience with both electrical and mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working independently, including during on-call shifts
- Fluent in both Dutch and English (a must)
- Valid driver’s license (B) and access to transportation
- Bonus points if you hold certifications like VCA VOL, CDCP, or CDCS
- Important: due to proximity to high-voltage systems, you must not have electronic implants
