We are looking for a Junior Operations Data Analyst to join our expanding Data Analytics team. With your strong analytical skills and an eye for detail, you will be responsible for collecting, documenting, and analyzing different sources of data. You will identify new analytics trends, opportunities to drive innovation and new data sources, next to the development of analytical models and insightful business reports and dashboards.

You will be based at our European headquarters in Amersfoort and will report to the Senior Operations Analyst. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our understanding of the business model dynamics and operational efficiency. The analytics and reporting challenges lay across all Operations related departments, such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and Regulatory Affairs.

The Junior Operations Data Analyst is part of the Business Control & Planning team, which consists of eight multi-cultural team members, five of whom are data analysts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and automating KPIs, metrics and reports for all Operations related departments
  • Develop and maintain reports in Power BI to provide new insights to drive business decisions
  • Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations
  • Conducting research and investigating existing business processes to identify bottlenecks and make them visible in data visualization tools, like PowerBI, Excel and Visio
  • Communicating findings in an effective and efficient manner to stakeholders and users
  • Develop and implement improvement proposals using data-driven frameworks
  • Advocate for use of data-driven methodologies
  • Participate in interdepartmental process improvements and projects as Subject Matter Expert for data analysis
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs, address inquiries, and ensure the accurate interpretation of data
  • Train users of various levels of data literacy and gather feedback to improve reports

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong affinity with Operations; experience working with manufacturing data is preferred
  • Proven hands-on experience developing and mainitaing Power BI dashboards and reports
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in English
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python is a plus
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in an international environment
