As a Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning and MLOps, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI models and solutions. Your expertise will drive the integration of intelligent systems across client projects, ensuring scalable, efficient, and impactful outcomes. This role is crucial in accelerating HCLTech’s mission to deliver transformative digital solutions and maintain its competitive edge in the technology industry.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models using frameworks such as PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Huggingface Transformers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Manage end-to-end model lifecycle, including version control, deployment, and monitoring using MLOps tools like MLflow, Docker, and Databricks.
• Design and implement robust data pipelines and workflows to support seamless integration of AI models into production environments.
• Ensure reproducibility, scalability, and performance of ML models through effective containerization and orchestration.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and validation to improve model accuracy and reliability.
• Document methodologies, maintain codebases, and adhere to industry best practices in data science and MLOps.
• Communicate complex analytical findings to stakeholders and contribute to technical knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications & Experience

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data science or related roles, with proven project delivery.
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries (PyTorch, scikit-learn, Huggingface Transformers).
• Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Databricks) and containerization platforms (Docker).
• Solid understanding of data science concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, NLP, and deep learning.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
