The PIM Project Coordinator drives the corporate-side introduction of the Product Information Management (PIM) and PIM system, ensuring structured coordination across stakeholders, corporate, businesses and a smooth migration of legacy product data into a single, reliable source of truth. That ensures the successful integration, quality, and governance of legacy product data in the new PIM environment.
Main Tasks:
- Lead and control the integration and migration of legacy product data into the new PIM system, with authority to define priorities, quality standards, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (corporate units, business units, data owners, IT, documentation, etc.) and resolve dependencies and conflicts impacting PIM delivery.
- Define and enforce data governance, ownership, and accountability (RACI) from a corporate perspective to ensure corporate needs, business needs, consistency, compliance, and long‑term usability of product data.
- Define, align, and document corporate requirements, business requirements, data models, and workflows related to product information management.
- Ensure data governance standards, data quality rules, change management, and ownership responsibilities are clearly defined and adopted.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and gaps related to data migration and business processes, and proactively drive mitigation actions.
Responsibility:
- Responsibility for acting as the central authority for corporate requirements, translating them into structured data models, processes, and governance rules for PIM and the PIM system.
- Responsibility for leading and controling the integration and migration of legacy product data into the new PIM system, with authority to define priorities, quality standards, and acceptance criteria.
- Responsibility for coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders (corporate units, business units, data owners, IT, documentation, etc.) and resolve dependencies and conflicts impacting PIM delivery.
- Responsibility for defining and enforcing data governance, ownership, and accountability (RACI) from a corporate perspective to ensure consistency, compliance, and long‑term usability of product data
- Proven experience leading legacy product data migration into enterprise PIM systems, including prioritization, quality standards, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong background in data governance, ownership models, and RACI definition at a corporate level.
- Ability to align and document business and corporate requirements, data models, and PIM workflows.
- Experience coordinating cross‑functional stakeholders and resolving dependencies and conflicts.
- Strong skills in data quality management, change management, and governance enforcement.
- Proactive in identifying risks, dependencies, and gaps and driving mitigation actions.
- Proven ability to coordinate and lead cross‑functional stakeholders, including corporate units, business units, data owners, IT, and documentation teams.
- Strong decision‑making and prioritization skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and competing interests impacting PIM delivery.
- Authority and credibility to define and enforce governance standards and ensure organization‑wide adoption.
