The position

As a React Frontend Engineer at agap2, you take on the challenge within an international environment with a local focus. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects over the years, based on your experience and interests. Projects within industries such as Banking, Fintech, Telco, Retail, Sports, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

You will play a key part in our transition from Angular to React, helping define and shape the next generation of our front-end architecture. Our current environment includes several Angular-based experiences, and we are preparing for a major framework migration. You will contribute directly to this effort and help us establish a more scalable, maintainable, and unified front-end structure.

Our front-end codebase is shared between two engineering teams, and you will collaborate closely with both to reduce duplication, improve consistency, and evolve our engineering practices.

• Lead and support our migration from Angular to React.
• Contribute to designing and implementing a long-term front-end architecture strategy.
• Identify code duplication and drive efforts to consolidate and improve reusability.
• Collaborate with both front-end and back-end engineers to ensure alignment across shared components and systems.
• Work proactively in an agile environment, helping push initiatives forward even in ambiguous situations.
• Communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders, raise issues early, and share ideas openly.

What you bring to the position

• A hands-on Front-End Engineer with strong React experience.
• Knowledge Angular, TypeScript, GraphQL and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Someone who takes ownership and isn’t afraid to dive into complex technical challenges.
• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working through ambiguity.
• Skilled in communicating technical concepts clearly and collaboratively.
• Passionate about clean, high-quality code and improving engineering processes.
