About Your Future Role
We are looking for a Unified Commerce Product Manager with deep ecommerce expertise who will own and evolve Nexi’s Unified Commerce product —connecting online, in‑store, mobile, and emerging touchpoints into one frictionless journey. You will champion the product vision across the entire lifecycle, balancing customer needs, commercial opportunities, and technical capabilities. You will partner with engineering, design, sales, risk, compliance, and external partners to deliver solutions that outperform market expectations.
What You’ll Do
Own the Omnichannel Payments Experience
- Work with a cross-functional team to design and evolve a seamless cross‑channel product experience that enables merchants to accept, manage, and optimize payments no matter the channel that they choose to utilize.
- Define a cross-organizational roadmap that considers ecommerce, POS, and mobile into a single propositional message for stakeholders.
- Lead the development of ecommerce capabilities including checkout optimization, payment routing, fraud insights, tokenization, integrations, and local payment method expansion.
- Identify gaps and opportunities by working with marketing and proposition teams to analyze market trends, internal usage data, and merchant feedback.
- Work with research colleagues to conduct user research, competitive analysis, and discovery workshops to inform product strategy.
- Turn ambiguous input into clear action plans and iterate based on results.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering (both POS and eCommerce), Design, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Risk & Compliance to ensure a seamless customer journey for our merchants.
- Translate business needs into precise requirements and ensure successful delivery across pan-European teams.
- Partner with marketing and proposition teams to craft compelling value propositions for merchants and partners, and ensure consistent messaging across regions.
- Own KPIs around uptime, performance, conversion, and operational excellence.
- Work with compliance and regional regulators to adapt the product to local requirements.
Must‑Have Experience
- 5+ years in product management within payments, ecommerce, SaaS, or financial services.
- Deep understanding of ecommerce flows: checkout, APM’s, risk evaluation, payment routing, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Proven ability to drive complex multi‑year product initiatives across international teams.
- Strong technical aptitude—comfortable collaborating on APIs, data models, and system architecture.
- Customer‑centric thinking rooted in simplicity and clarity.
- Data‑driven decision‑making with a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across teams and markets.
- Agile mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Fluent in English; German, Italian, Danish, Swedish a bonus
