Scrum Master
- Location: Veghel
- Salary: € 5.200 - € 6.400
Not your typical Scrum Master – Team Coach
Let’s Be Honest
Scrum Master is often misunderstood. Many in this role spend their days scheduling meetings, updating Jira boards, and chasing people for stand-ups. If that’s your idea of impact, this role isn’t for you.
We’re looking for someone who changes the conversation. Someone who sees what’s beneath the surface—the tension in the room, the patterns holding a team back—and knows how to help people work through it. Someone who can address what’s not being said, and still keep the team moving forward.
This role is about helping teams grow, challenging comfort zones, and improving both delivery and collaboration. If you’ve ever thought, “I’m not just a facilitator — I build high-performing teams,” you’ll feel right at home here.
If you need a framework for every move, this isn’t the place.
What You’ll Actually Do
Coach, Don’t Babysit
- Turn good teams into great ones—teams that own outcomes, call out dysfunctions, and deliver with pride.
- Ask the hard questions, have the conversations others avoid, name the elephants. Help teams and individuals grow from them.
- Coach teams beyond Agile theory—into accountability, trust, and maturity.
Keep Delivery Real
- Make work visible and meaningful—not bureaucratic. Use Jira to enable flow, not to report on it.
- Partner with Product Owners to balance focus and flow—drive delivery rhythm and predictability without becoming their admin.
- Help teams find rhythm, not rules. Spot systemic bottlenecks and solve them together—not by policing.
Elevate and Shape the System
- Collaborate with RTEs, Product Owners, Group Leads, and other coaches to improve team and ART collaboration.
- Help leaders and teams build trust, alignment, and purpose.
- Be a catalyst for a culture where feedback, ownership, and learning are everyday habits.
- Support teams on their journey to self-management, where facilitation and reporting are shared responsibilities.
Who You Are
- You know tools and rituals alone don’t make teams great—people do.
- You have professional experience in product development, software engineering, or delivery environments.
- You bring 7+ years of work experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or coaching role—Project Manager, Team Lead, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach—helping teams and people level up.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills, ideally with formal or systemic coaching experience.
- Emotionally intelligent, grounded, and unafraid to challenge respectfully:
- You create safety and spark accountability simultaneously.
- You hold space for conflict without letting it derail progress.
- You avoid blame but are direct when needed.
- Deeply care about growth, quality, and impact.
- Fluent in both delivery metrics and human dynamics.
- Proven track record of turning good teams into great ones.
