As a Project Manager, you will lead projects in an agile organization, working closely with line organizations, cross-functional teams, and international bus body builder partners. Your main focus will be to coordinate and secure smooth cooperation between Scania’s chassis development and our body builder partners, ensuring complete vehicle delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage development projects towards body builders from start to finish, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Act as a key link between Scania project teams, and external body builders to align strategies and technical solutions.
- Secure interfaces between Scania chassis and body builders, enabling smooth delivery of prototypes, test vehicles, SOP, and SOCOP buses.
- Report project status in relevant forums such as VCF Pulse and technical forums.
- Continuously improve project processes and developing more efficient ways of working with our external body builder partners
- University or civil engineering degree, or equivalent.
- Previous project management experience is an advantage but not required. What matters most is your leadership interest, drive, and ability to inspire others.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across functions and organizations.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement.
The section “Product Adaptation and Partnership” is responsible for S-order, DOL, and bodybuilder cooperation within People Transport Solutions. Within the section, we have project management, design, and bodybuilder technical support.
The Adaptation Projects team (UCTAFP) consists of 12 project managers leading S-order and DOL/P-DOL projects within the bus organization.
