Specialist – Statistics & Data Analytics Automation
Location: The Netherlands | Full-time

Are you a data-driven statistician who enjoys turning complex data into smart, automated solutions? For an international pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, we are looking for a Specialist in Statistics & Data Analytics Automation who combines analytical depth with hands-on programming skills.
What will you do?You will play a key role in improving and automating statistical and data analysis processes within a global manufacturing organization. You work closely with technical, quality and IT teams to develop practical tools and workflows that make data-driven decision-making faster and more efficient.
Key responsibilities
  • Build and automate statistical analysis workflows
  • Develop small applications and data tools (e.g. R / RShiny)
  • Support manufacturing and quality projects with quantitative insights
  • Collaborate with IT and data teams on data access and validation
  • Translate user needs into scalable analytics solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation and AI
What do you bring?
  • MSc in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science or similar quantitative field
  • Strong programming skills in RShiny
  • Ability to explain complex statistical concepts in a clear way
  • Experience with data analysis, modelling and problem solving
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • A valid working visa is required, as well as residency max 1 hour travelling from the site (applications without these requirements will not be considered).
Nice to have
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing statistics (e.g. SPC, capability analyses)
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL or SAS
  • Affinity with AI tools and data engineering concepts
  • Strong visualization and workflow design skills
