You will
- Build and manage the GCP foundation platform to support application deployments
- Engineer cloud solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage centrally provided cloud services, including:
- IAM
- Networking
- Logging
- Operating systems
- Containers
- Ensure compliance with centrally defined Security standards
- Ensure compliance with Operational Risk standards (Network, Firewall, OS, Logging, Monitoring, Availability, Resiliency)
- Maintain and update support/operational documentation
- Follow and enforce correct Change Management processes as per central guidelines
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support outside business hours
Must have
- Experience building cloud services on a CSP (ideally Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong understanding of SDN within cloud platforms (VPCs, XPN, routing, firewalls)
- Expert-level understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and related tools
- Knowledge of IAM concepts (ADFS, OAuth)
- Familiarity with cloud compliance, auditing, and monitoring tools
- Excellent proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, Scala
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON processing, API integrations
- Bonus: experience with toolchains like Webpack, Babel, Vite
- Ability to build strong relationships with application teams, cross-functional IT, and global/local engineering teams
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills — able to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
