JOB DESCRIPTION

• Working in cross-functional teams to combine diverse technical capabilities and industry expertise to transform big data into actionable business insights
• Participating in the end-to-end project development life cycle (i.e., requirement analysis, technical design, implementation, testing, documentation, delivery and monitoring)
• Participating in source data analysis, requirement analysis and prototyping sessions as a Data Analyst with the business users to define data needs
• Working as a Data Engineer on Data Quality, Data Preparation, Data Modeling, Data Integration, Data Visualization, Business Intelligence activities
• Taking responsibility for Data Operations processes by monitoring data pipelines, ensuring production continuity, managing incident resolution, and maintaining data reliability and SLA compliance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in Banking, Finance, Insurance or Telco industries is a big plus
• Experience with DBMS and DB Appliances (MS SQL Server or Oracle Exadata),
• Data Wrangling and Programming proficiency in PLSQL, T-SQL or Python
• Data Integration Tool experience (IBM Data Stage, Oracle Data Integrator or Informatica)
• BI Tool experience (SAP Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, Microstrategy or QlikSense)
• Data Modeling experience on Data Modeling Tools (SAP Power Designer or Erwin Data Modeler)
• Experience in monitoring daily/periodic data pipelines and ensuring the continuity, reliability, and performance of data flows
• Experience in Managing incident handling, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for data-related production problems
• Being familiar with business terminology, regulations and standards being imposed on the industries
• Problem solving, documentation, communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English and Turkish
