Job Description
Main purpose is to ensure that mobile voice, data and SMS services (CS, IMS, VoLTE) are consistently available, stable and high quality for customer while implementing changes and optimizations safely

Main purpose is to ensure that mobile voice, data and SMS services (CS, IMS, VoLTE) are consistently available, stable and high quality for customer while implementing changes and optimizations safely
Responsibilities
- Solid understanding of LTE/5G concepts especially IMS, VoLTE/VoWIFi/VONR/UDM/UDC and related call flows and interfaces
- Expert knowledge with protocols such as SIP, RTP, diameter, Diameter, SCTP, HTTP2.0 and Wireshark
- Monitor Voice core network elements (e.g. IMS/CSCF, SBC,TAS, UDC, UDM, HLR/HSS) nodes to keep call setup and voice quality within agreed SLAs.
- Perform L2 / L3 trouble shooting for incidents, alarms, driving fault isolation and restoration within target MTTR, often coordinating with L1/NOC/CCC and vendors
- Execute configuration changes on voice core nodes (routing, numbering plans, interconnection trunks, subscriber and IMS profiles) following change management process
- Perform and Support software upgrades, patches and feature activations including pre and post health checks
- Analyze KPIs and Performance counters ( SIP, RTP, MAP, Diameter errors) to identify degradation trends and trigger corrective actions
- Participate in integration and Acceptance of new core elements or features (e.g. IMS nodes, VoLTE/VoNR launches, interconnects with other operators, eSIM, EIR, Emergency services)
- Support testing (lab and field) for new services and migrations ensuring interoperability with RAN, IT systems and external partners
- Work closely with planning, security, billing/IT and customer care teams, providing technical expertise and feedback from operations into Next Gen transformation projects
- Maintain up to-date documentation, network diagrams, configuration baselines, SOPs and trouble shooting guides
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Telecommunications/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience in mobile core networks
- 6 – 8 yrs of experience in Mobile Core network operations
