We are partnering with a well-established, diversified UAE-based group to appoint an experienced IT Director to lead and oversee enterprise-wide technology strategy and operations. This role offers the opportunity to drive digital transformation initiatives and shape the long-term technology vision of a multi-entity organization.

Role Overview

The IT Director will be responsible for defining and executing the organization’s IT strategy while ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable technology operations across multiple business divisions. The role requires a strategic leader capable of aligning technology with business objectives while maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall IT strategy aligned with organizational goals

• Lead IT operations including infrastructure, networks, enterprise applications, and cybersecurity

• Drive digital transformation and process automation initiatives

• Establish IT governance, policies, risk management, and compliance frameworks

• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology procurement

• Ensure business continuity, data protection, and information security standards

• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing IT teams across business units

• Partner with senior leadership to enable innovation and technology-driven growth

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred)

• 12+ years of IT experience, including senior leadership roles

• Proven experience within large or multi-entity organizations

• Strong expertise in IT strategy, enterprise systems, and digital transformation

• Experience managing large-scale IT environments and cross-functional teams

• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities

• UAE or regional experience preferred
