IOS Application Architect

Experience:

Post Graduate or Graduate in Engineering or Master of Computer Applications (MCA) with Computer Science or Computer Applications or related Specialization
10 + years in in Software Applications & Development with 5+ years in Architect Roles

Skills & Competencies:

Mobile: Expertise in Swift, Objective-C, and Cocoa Touch.
Tablet: Proficiency in adaptive layout design and optimization for tablets.
Apple TV: Experience with tvOS SDK, TVML, and TVUIKit.
iOS Frameworks and APIs: Proficiency in UIKit, CoreData, and CoreAnimation.
Database: Familiarity with RDBMS, NoSQL, and Sequential databases.
API Integration: Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
Streaming Protocols: Experience with streaming protocols like HLS and DASH.
Cross-Platform Development: Experience with cross-platform frameworks and technologies like Jetpack Compose, Flutter, Unity, etc.
Exposure to Agile and SCRUM methodologies.

Must Have:

Self-Leadership\Time Management
Design Skills: Experience with responsive/adaptive web design, wireframe
development, UX/UI design, and tools like Figma.Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA).
Domain Skills: Deep understanding of OTT (Over the Top) media services,
video streaming technologies, and DRM. Knowledge of the Media and
Entertainment domain.
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, teamwork, and project
management skills.
Agile Process and Methodology Skills: Proficient in Agile/Scrum/Kanban
development methodologies, experience with JIRA and Confluence.
Tools and Framework: Mastery of Xcode, Interface Builder, performance
profiling tools, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), cloud technologies, security practices.

Preferred Skills:

Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of AI/ML concepts.
Tools and Framework: Understanding of W3C, WHATWG, ECMA
International, HTMLPanda standards. Experience with SonarQube, Kiuwan,
TwistLocker, Microsoft Defender, Qualys, Github, SVN, Gerrit, and Github Co-Pilot.
Other Skills: Proficiency in Excel and creating macros. Willingness to learn
new technologies and programming languages, understand new requirements and judge the effort and risk associated with their implementation
