PHP Developer

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves maintaining and enhancing legacy applications while utilizing your expertise in PHP, jQuery, and MySQL. You will play a key role in modernizing outdated systems and ensuring optimal performance in a Linux-based environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update legacy PHP applications to ensure functionality and performance.

• Utilize PHP 7.4.33, jQuery, and MySQL to troubleshoot and enhance applications.

• Analyze outdated libraries and recommend effective upgrade paths.

• Debug applications locally by downloading and running code to identify issues.

• Migrate applications between servers while ensuring minimal downtime.

• Work within Linux-based server environments to optimize system operations.

• Collaborate on applications hosted in WordPress environments.

• Provide clear technical recommendations and solutions to improve system efficiency.

• Communicate findings and next steps effectively with stakeholders.
