We are partnering with a well-established technology organization seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to support and enhance client network environments. This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys both deep technical troubleshooting and proactive infrastructure design. The right candidate will be comfortable working across on-prem and cloud environments, collaborating with senior engineers, and serving as a trusted technical resource for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain secure network infrastructures including firewalls, switches, wireless systems, and supporting technologies.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking and infrastructure issues, including escalated technical challenges.
  • Support Windows-based server environments and identity platforms such as Active Directory and Entra ID.
  • Configure and manage core network services including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, subnetting, and port aggregation.
  • Diagnose and support Azure-based infrastructure including virtual machines, VPN gateways, hybrid identity, and endpoint management solutions.
  • Conduct on-site visits as needed for implementation, upgrades, and advanced troubleshooting.
  • Produce detailed documentation including configuration records, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Assist with technology evaluations and recommend infrastructure improvements.
  • Participate in rotating after-hours support when required.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 2+ years of networking and infrastructure experience.
  • Experience working with enterprise networking equipment (Cisco, SonicWall, Palo Alto, HP, Ubiquiti, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of IP addressing, VLAN configuration, routing, DNS/DHCP, RDP, and LDAP.
  • Experience supporting virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Experience managing Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (Security+, Network+, AZ-104, AZ-700, PCNSA/PCNSE) are a plus.
