We are seeking a DCS Engineer for a leading client in Qatar to support Substation Automation System (SAS) projects including DCS/SCS, RTU, and Cybersecurity.
Job Title: DCS Engineer – Substation Automation (Entry level)
Location: Qatar
Contract: Yearly Renewable
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Execute engineering and field services for DCS/SCS, RTU, and SAS systems.
- Perform site surveys, design engineering, database configuration, panel integration, FAT support, testing & commissioning.
- Conduct signal, control, interlock, IEC 61850 IED, SCADA, and DCS functional testing.
- Design and configure substation LAN networks, industrial PCs, switches, firewalls, and satellite clocks.
- Configure IEDs (BCU, RTU, protection relays, AVR, tariff meters).
🔹 Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 1–2 years of experience in Substation Automation projects.(Entry level)
- Experience with GE DS Agile, PACiS, and GPG solutions.
- Strong knowledge of IEC 61850, MODBUS, IEC101/104, T103, SNTP, PRP/HSR/RSTP.
- Practical experience in DCS/SCS engineering, system architecture, DB configuration, FAT & commissioning.
