The Opportunity

Our client is a leading intelligence platform within the debt capital markets. They leverage proprietary AI to extract complex legal language at scale, delivering specialized insights that generic tools cannot match.

Currently, their legal product suite drives 25% of total revenue. They are now building a dedicated Legals squad to transform this asset into a world-class, AI-powered platform that powers multiple high-value financial verticals.

As the Senior Product Manager for Legals, you will report directly to the CPO. You will own the strategy to transform raw legal data into the structured, AI-ready datasets that define the future of legal workflows in finance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Define and execute a 12–18 month strategy for legal product infrastructure.
• Lead a dedicated squad of engineers and designers to ship high-impact legal experiences.
• Partner with internal legal experts to translate domain knowledge into product requirements.
• Optimize automated extraction pipelines to increase accuracy and reduce manual intervention.
• Build a reusable legal data platform for seamless integration across other product teams.
• Ship early-stage AI features specifically designed for law firms and legal practitioners.
• Establish clear operating models for cross-functional collaboration across the business.
• Balance technical infrastructure needs with immediate commercial and roadmap impact.

What They’re Looking For

Essential

• Product leadership experience with a track record of shipping successful software.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate deeply with engineering and design.
• Strong stakeholder management skills when navigating technical or complex domains.
• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to build structure in a fast-paced environment.
• A pragmatic, outcome-focused mindset that prioritizes commercial and user impact.

Nice to Have

• Experience building legal tech or AI-driven products.
• Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) or complex data extraction pipelines.
• A background in law, whether through academic study or professional practice.
• Experience in compliance or other highly regulated, technical industries.
