Your Mission

As an AI Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our Product, Engineering, and Security teams to design

and deploy advanced AI/ML solutions that power our MDR platform, ION. You will focus on building

intelligent systems that enhance threat detection, automation, and decision-making, using cutting-edge AI

research and methodologies. Your work will be central to ensuring Ontinue’s platform is not only reactive but predictive, setting a new standard for smart, proactive cybersecurity operations.

Your First Three Months At Ontinue

  • Connect with Product Managers, Engineers, and Security Analysts to understand Ontinue’s vision for AI-driven MDR.
  • Deeply familiarize yourself with ION, Ontinue's Microsoft-based MDR platform, and identify areas where AI can drive innovation.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of current generative AI applications, AI Agentic workflows and data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into production at scale.
  • Understand Ontinue’s value proposition and actively seek opportunities to make our AI capabilities a core differentiator.


Your Experience May Include

  • Design and development of agentic or generative AI systems into production environments.
  • Design and optimization of scalable data pipelines for AI/ML training and inference.
  • Building, training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning and deep learning models (classification,anomaly detection, clustering, NLP, time-series forecasting, etc.).
  • Practical use of supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning techniques.
  • Model monitoring, retraining strategies, and AI lifecycle management (MLOps).
  • Translating business and technical problems into AI/ML solutions.
  • Implementing the latest AI methods, adapting academic innovations into real-world applications.
  • Collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams (product, engineering, domain experts) to deliver impactful AI features.


Skills We Are Looking For

  • Good knowledge of Python, with strong skills in data libraries and AI/ML engineering tools and frameworks.
  • Good software engineering skills with a focus on best practices (object-oriented programming, testing, debugging, asynchronous programing).
  • Hands-on experience deploying AI models into cloud environments (preferably Azure, but AWS or GCP is welcome).
  • Knowledge of large language models (LLMs), generative AI, agentic AI and their application to enterprise workflows.
  • Ability to rapidly prototype, iterate, and optimize AI solutions for real-world constraints (e.g., latency, scalability).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex AI concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A creative, self-motivated attitude toward problem-solving and innovation.


Nice To Have

  • Background in AI-driven automation platforms or intelligent decision systems.
  • Experience with Azure ML Studio, Azure Cognitive Services, or similar cloud-native AI tools.
  • Experience in graph machine learning, knowledge graphs, and link prediction techniques.
  • Research or publication experience in AI/ML, NLP, or applied ML domains.
  • Experience integrating AI into cybersecurity products is a bonus but not required.
