Hudson is privileged to partner with a globally established software business to appoint a proven Senior Vice President, Global Sales (APAC). This is a career-defining mandate to develop and drive a comprehensive, ICP-focused enterprise sales strategy across APAC to aggressively expand market share and target the highest-yield accounts, while leading from the front on complex enterprise pursuits and building a culture of accountability and high performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Regional Strategy Execution: Develop and drive a comprehensive, ICP-focused enterprise sales strategy across APAC to aggressively expand market share and target the highest-yield accounts.
  2. Leadership and Mentorship: Lead, scale, and mentor high-performing direct sales directors and pre-sales engineering teams, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.
  3. Pipeline and Forecasting Management: Oversee regional forecasting, pipeline development, and territory planning to ensure rigorous predictability and sustainable revenue growth.
  4. Complex Deal Execution: Spearhead the acquisition of top-tier enterprise accounts by actively engaging in executive-level negotiations and supporting your team on complex, multi-million dollar deals.
  5. Pre-Sales Alignment: Direct the pre-sales function to ensure technical solutions are seamlessly integrated with our sales strategy and directly address our customers' most pressing business challenges.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with global marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure go-to-market alignment, optimise product feedback loops, and maximise customer retention.
  7. Market Intelligence: Analyse regional market trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs to identify new enterprise expansion opportunities across the Asia Pacific landscape.
  8. Operational Excellence: Optimise regional sales processes in strong collaboration with Sales Operations to improve team productivity, shorten sales cycles, and increase overall win rates.
Must-Haves
  • Extensive Experience: A minimum of 15+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience, including a proven track record in a senior leadership role managing a pan-APAC region.
  • Challenger Methodology Mastery: Advanced understanding and proven, practical experience implementing the Challenger Sale methodology at a regional scale to disrupt the status quo and drive complex deals.
  • Demonstrated Revenue Growth: A history of successfully scaling enterprise revenue from the ground up to significant regional milestones within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Dual-Function Leadership: Deep expertise in building, managing, and unifying both direct sales teams and technical pre-sales teams across diverse cultural markets.
  • Executive Presence: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the credibility to influence C-level executives and confidently navigate complex enterprise procurement processes.

  • Established Network: A robust, pre-existing network of C-level contacts and decision-makers across key enterprise sectors within the APAC region.
  • Regional Language Skills: Professional proficiency in a secondary Asian language to facilitate smoother relationship building and negotiations in specific local markets.
