📌 Job description:

Define and govern the end-to-end solution architecture for secure web and mobile applications delivered within a government-regulated environment, ensuring alignment with security, scalability, integration, and operational constraints, while acting as a technical authority across delivery teams and stakeholders.

🛠️ Your responsibilities:

Architecture Definition & Governance

• Design the overall solution architecture covering mobile apps, web portals, backend orchestration, APIs, and infrastructure layers
• Ensure compliance with government SDLC, security frameworks, and regulatory constraints
• Define non-functional requirements including scalability, availability, performance, and resilience
• Establish architecture principles, patterns, and technical standards across delivery teams
• Maintain architecture documentation and decision records

Web & Mobile Technical Leadership

• Guide architecture choices for native mobile (iOS/Android) and modern web platforms
• Ensure secure integration with identity services, biometrics, payment, and enterprise backends
• Validate UX-driven technical feasibility and cross-platform consistency
• Support implementation of secure mobile and web architectures in coordination with cybersecurity teams

Integration & Delivery Alignment

• Define API integration strategy with external and government systems
• Align backend orchestration, data flows, and security boundaries
• Support DevOps, HA/DR, and environment architecture
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and technical arbitration
• Provide guidance during UAT, go-live readiness, and production stabilization

Stakeholder & Governance Interaction

• Act as primary architecture interface with the customer, Thales, and delivery leadership
• Support technical workshops, clarifications, and bid/delivery governance
• Contribute to risk management and mitigation strategies

💼 Profile:

Mandatory Requirements

• 10+ years in software or solution architecture roles
• Proven experience delivering web and mobile platforms in government or regulated environments
• Strong knowledge of secure architecture, API-based integration, and distributed systems
• Experience with native mobile, modern web frameworks, and backend orchestration patterns
• Solid understanding of HA/DR, scalability, and performance design
• Experience working within formal SDLC and validation-driven delivery
• Ability to engage directly with senior technical and customer stakeholders
• Fluent professional English

Nice to Have

• Experience with digital identity, biometrics, or national-scale citizen services
• Prior collaboration with Thales or similar government integrators
• Familiarity with cloud, containerization, and CI/CD ecosystems
• Architecture certifications (e.g., TOGAF, cloud architect, or equivalent)
