About Us:

Our flagship software, VantageRIsk, is a financial loss modelling platform designed to help cybersecurity practitioners quantify and communicate cyber risk. Currently in early alpha, we are focused on refining usability, improving navigation, and increasing premium conversions as we prepare for broader release. We’re looking for a UI/UX Specialist who can help translate complex financial and risk modelling concepts into clear, intuitive user experiences.


What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a UI/UX specialist with strong experience in:

  • Designing conversion-focused upgrade flows (Free → Premium) Improving product navigation and information architecture
  • Translating complex or technical concepts into intuitive workflows Creating wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma
  • Designing for data-heavy dashboards and analytical tools Conducting usability testing and implementing iterative improvements
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating real UX problem-solving is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimise in-app premium upgrade pathways to improve conversion rates Improve feature visibility and value communication for premium users
  • Redesign and simplify navigation structures, menus, and dashboards Audit and streamline user journeys to reduce friction and improve task efficiency
  • Take conceptual product ideas from founders and translate them into: User flows Wireframes Interactive prototypes
  • Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs Contribute to the evolution of a scalable design system
  • Support onboarding improvements to highlight product value early


Ideal Skills & Experience:

  • Strong UX foundation (information architecture, user flows, usability testing)
  • Demonstrated ability to improve usability in complex software environments
  • Experience designing SaaS, financial, scientific, or analytical software
  • Understanding of conversion psychology and user behaviour Proficiency in Figma (or equivalent design tools)
  • Ability to simplify technical or mathematical concepts through design


Advantageous Skills:

  • Experience working with financial modelling or risk analysis software
  • Experience designing data visualisations or graph-based interfaces
