About The Role
The CRM Manager will play a critical role in driving customer engagement and retention through strategic design, implementation, and optimization of automated marketing campaigns. Leveraging Customer.io, the Specialist will create tailored campaign flows for diverse user types within our remittance platform while focusing on rigorous performance analysis and innovative experimentation to enhance campaign effectiveness.
At the Growth function level, own the measurement and accountability of retention impact driven by CRM initiatives. This includes designing and maintaining controlled analyses to quantify incremental retention lift by comparing retention performance between cohorts exposed to CRM actions and equivalent control groups that do not receive such interventions. The role is responsible for defining methodologies, ensuring statistical rigor, and clearly reporting incremental impact, while excluding non-CRM structural or product driven retention effects from Growth ownership.
What You’ll Do
- Campaign Strategy and Development:
- Develop and implement automated marketing campaigns aimed at enhancing customer engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with the growth and data teams to align campaign objectives with overall business goals.
- Automation Execution:
- Utilize Customer.io and other relevant marketing automation tools to build and execute campaigns.
- Monitor and optimize automation processes within Customer.io to ensure smooth operation and effectiveness.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze campaign performance metrics to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare reports on campaign results, using insights to refine future strategies.
- User Engagement and Segmentation:
- Work closely with the analytics team to understand user types and behaviors, tailoring campaigns accordingly.
- Implement A/B testing for campaign elements to optimize engagement and conversion rates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with product, sales, and customer service teams to ensure cohesive messaging and customer experience.
- Facilitate training sessions for stakeholders on CRM tools, especially Customer.io, and campaign best practices.
- Proven experience with CRM platforms, preferably Customer.io, and marketing automation tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting campaign metrics and data.
- Familiarity with customer segmentation, engagement strategies, and retention tactics.
- Advanced English level
- These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.
- Experience with Talon One or similar platforms.
- Have experience in remittances or financial services.
