Kubernetes Lead Developer (m/w/d)

#PROFILE
- Technical end-to-end responsibility for the further development and scaling of a Kubernetes-as-a-Service platform for Anexia customers
- Lead role in the development and operation of highly available Kubernetes clusters, including design, review, and quality assurance
- Establishment and continuous improvement of CI/CD and GitOps standards, in particular using GitLab and Flux, across multiple teams
- Strategic advancement of the managed Kubernetes service, including roadmap definition, technical decision-making, and evaluation of new technologies
- Design and implementation of complex Kubernetes controllers and operators, for example to automate control planes and customer clusters
- Responsibility for the stability, security, and performance of the platform in day-to-day operations
- Mentoring and technical leadership of engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance
- Several years of professional experience as a Kubernetes Developer, Tech Lead, or in a comparable role
- Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including architecture, internals, operations, and troubleshooting
- Very strong Go skills, ideally in the context of Kubernetes controllers and operators
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and configuration management with Ansible is a plus
- Deep Linux expertise and a strong understanding of networking, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructures
- Experience in technical leadership, decision-making, and ownership of code quality and architecture
- Very good German and English skills, written and spoken
