Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in a management or leadership position within a software development or DevOps organisation
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent technical field (MBA is a valuable asset)
- Proven experience operating within a corporate, international environment
- Extensive technical expertise with the ability to lead at both a strategic and operational level
- Deep knowledge of ICT advancements and a commitment to keeping expertise up-to-date
- Demonstrated success in optimizing daily operations, renewing platforms, and managing predetermined budgets
- Experience harmonising IT processes across different countries to increase quality and cost-efficiency
- Soft Skills: Dynamic and strong personality; a "people manager" who excels at inspiring, coaching, and formulating a clear policy vision based on business needs
- Languages: English (fluent); knowledge of Dutch, French, or German is a plus
Job Description:
- Translate global business objectives into a concrete IT strategy and roadmap for the European region
- Develop and lead a high-quality Business Application Development organisation focused on cost-efficient, high-quality results
- Coordinate and organise operational support for all European applications, including new feature development and project delivery
- Monitor departmental results against the financial plan and manage the proposed budget
- Assess market trends to translate business requirements into an effective and modern IT organisation
- Oversee project lifecycles to ensure timely completion within budget and according to established quality standards
- Promote the continuous improvement of IT processes, tools, and working methods to ensure optimal service
- Collaborate closely with cross-border departments to harmonise processes and increase operational efficiency
- Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to realise long-term and short-term visions
