Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support a sector-leading telecommunications organization in Belgium. The consultant will play a key role in delivering high-impact data insights that drive strategic and operational decision-making across commercial, customer, and network domains. This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week on-site presence in Brussels.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Perform advanced data analysis to support strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports for senior stakeholders.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data exploration.
• Work closely with business, IT, and data engineering teams.
• Define KPIs and performance metrics aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance compliance.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Support data-driven transformation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in complex environments.
• Strong SQL skills (advanced querying, optimization).
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Ability to engage directly with business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred

• Experience in telecommunications sector.
• Experience working in regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working in agile environments.

Language Requirements

• Professional English required.
