Are you an Agile Coach seeking an opportunity to guide, mentor, and transform an organization as it embarks on its Agile transformation journey? Are you interested in joining an innovative, software solutions Business, dedicated to driving digital transformation?
We have an exciting opportunity for an Agile Coach to join our team and play a key role in shaping and embedding Agile principles across the Propylon Government Solutions teams. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to build a culture grounded in collaboration, transparency, and customer focused delivery. Your expertise will empower teams to interpret Agile metrics effectively, enhance performance, and stay aligned with our strategic objectives.
Job Overview
Responsibilities:
- Introduce Agile methodologies and implement agility in the project delivery processes using Scrum
- Coach and Mentor Tech Leads, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Agile teams across frameworks like Scrum and Kanban to enhance release planning, Agile ceremonies, continuous integration and continuous delivery practices
- Deliver Agile/Scrum training and reinforce understanding of values, principles, and practices.
- Support the coaching and training of Tech Leads, Project Managers and Business Analysts to achieve the required Scrum certifications.
- Facilitate Agile Ceremonies by leading retrospectives, workshops, and planning sessions that spark insight and drive improvement.
- Shift focus from task completion to delivering long-term customer value.
- Foster an environment where experimentation, open dialogue, and servant leadership thrive.
- Help develop servant leadership and enable high-performing teams.
- Empower Product Owners through guiding backlog prioritisation and partner engagement for maximum impact, ensuring backlogs reflect customer and business value.
- Facilitate Estimation Workshops and Increment Planning, ensuring effective coordination and alignment during workshops and planning sessions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Computer Science, Information Technology), or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in Agile environments, including 3+ years as an Agile Coach.
- Deep expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Proven experience leading Agile transformations and coaching distributed teams.
- Strong coaching, facilitation, communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Solid understanding of software development, DevOps, and CI/CD
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven decision-making capabilities.
- CSM, PSM, SAFe or ICP certifications.
- Experience with scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS)
- Experience with AI driven practices within established frameworks that enable teams to incorporate data analytics and predictive modelling into everyday Agile ceremonies and delivery cycles.
