At Mysterium Network, we exist to solve the internet freedom problems and we’re inviting bold minds to join a mission that matters. While others put up barriers, we’re creating open pathways – for people, for ideas, for access.
About the role
We're looking for an SEO specialist to join our marketing team. You’ll manage both on-site and off-site SEO, with the majority of your work focused on on-site actions.
In this role, you'll shape how our pages rank: from preparing briefs that set writers and designers up for success, to executing on-page optimization, maintaining site health, and running backlink campaigns targeting audiences in the US. You'll work closely with the marketing team to make SEO a core part of how we grow.
What you will do:
- Research keywords, search intent, and competitor positioning to inform content strategy across landing pages, blog posts, and case studies.
- Prepare detailed SEO briefs covering structure, target keywords, intent, internal linking, and on-page requirements for new content pieces.
- Perform SEO reviews before publishing, ensuring each piece meets technical and on-page standards before it goes live.
- Maintain and improve site-wide internal linking.
- Execute technical SEO tasks: site audits, crawl issue resolution, structured data, page speed improvements, and indexation management.
- Continuously update and optimize existing content to maintain and improve rankings as competition and algorithms evolve.
- Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies — including link prospecting, outreach, digital PR, and partnerships.
What makes you a great fit:
Must-haves:
- 2+ years of experience in SEO, covering both on-page and off-page work.
- Solid understanding of technical SEO fundamentals and experience executing (not just auditing) technical tasks.
- Experience with keyword research, search intent analysis, and translating findings into clear content briefs.
- Hands-on experience with backlink acquisition: outreach, digital PR, or link-building campaigns.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written English.
Nice to have:
- Experience with GEO - optimizing content for AI-driven search systems
- Familiarity with CMS platforms
- Experience working with privacy, security, or tech content.
✨ If you're someone who gets satisfaction from seeing a page you briefed get built, and optimized to climb the rankings - we'd love to meet you.
What we offer:
- Freedom to experiment, opportunity to learn new things in the ever-developing field of Web 3, blockchain, and privacy.
- Guidance from ambitious, open-minded professionals, eager to make a change in the world.
- Benefits include the ability to work remotely or from the office, 25 vacation days + a day off on your birthday & learning budget.
- The salary range for this position is €2200 - €3200 gross/month, depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, and competencies.
