About The Role
The Associate Research Analyst supports the creation of accurate, insightful market data by using internal datasets, secondary sources, and primary research. This role focuses on the Beauty and Fashion industries and offers the opportunity to work with global research teams and in‑country analysts on diverse international projects.
What You'll Do
- Review national statistics, trade data, and industry reports for relevant market insights.
- Manipulate internal datasets (e.g., price tracking, digital shelf data) for granular market estimates.
- Build regional and global company profiles for brand and category calculations.
- Collaborate with forecasting specialists and validate outputs using primary research.
- Identify information gaps and source additional data through targeted research.
- Commission and manage in‑country analysts for localised insights.
- Run quality checks, document sources, and explain data methodologies.
- Analyse, clean, and structure datasets to develop meaningful category/country estimates.
- Support client queries by explaining research approaches when required.
- Collaborate with global teams and specialists to maintain strong client engagement.

- Excellent communication and listening skills.

- Proficiency in English (additional languages an advantage).
- Strong numeracy and confidence engaging with external sources.
- Understanding of the beauty/cosmetics industry is a plus.
- Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills; Power BI or Tableau experience is an advantage.
